The planned affiliate model
Best Police Scanners is being developed as an affiliate-supported publication. If approved affiliate links are added, a qualifying purchase may generate a commission for the publisher without changing the purchase price charged by the retailer.
Current links
Affiliate tracking is not currently activated. Product buttons currently lead to manufacturer information. We do not display live Amazon prices, Amazon customer ratings or stock claims. Affiliate account eligibility and the tracking route will be verified before commercial links are activated.
Editorial choices
A commission is not evidence that a product suits your system. Our recommendations must explain documented capabilities, required extras and limitations. A product that cannot receive your target system is unsuitable regardless of its price or commission.
Before commercial publication
The appropriate programme disclosure, including Amazon’s required Associate statement if that programme is used, will accompany activated affiliate links. Commercial links must be identified and marked as sponsored. This publication does not claim that site-specific programme approval has already been granted.
