Hosting
The public website is hosted by Vercel. Serving and securing a website involves processing technical request information such as IP addresses, browser details and requested URLs. See Vercel’s privacy policy for its practices.
Optional Google Analytics
With your permission, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages people read and how they use the site. It can process page views, referring sites, device/browser information, approximate location and interactions such as scrolling and outbound clicks. Analytics uses browser cookies to distinguish visits. We do not use Google Signals, advertising personalisation or advertising cookies on this site.
Google Analytics is not loaded until you choose “Allow analytics”. Choosing “Reject analytics” leaves it off and does not prevent you from using the site. Your choice is stored in this browser for up to six months. Use “Privacy settings” in the footer to change it at any time. Withdrawing permission stops further analytics collection in this browser; it does not erase data already sent. See Google’s privacy policy and how Google uses information from partner sites.
We do not intentionally send names, email addresses or precise locations to Analytics. Page URLs sent by our tag exclude query strings and fragments. Site search and form-interaction measurement are disabled. Analytics reports describe usage; they do not identify individual readers to us. Analytics is disabled in local previews and non-production builds.
Comparison preferences
The comparison tool stores selected product identifiers in your browser’s local storage so you can move between reviews. Use “Clear comparison” to remove the selection, or clear this site’s browser storage. There are no user accounts or newsletter forms.
Search and filters
Search, filters and the system-choice helper run in your browser against the site’s catalogue. Your search terms are not submitted to a remote search service. The helper does not perform a location lookup.
External links and email
Manufacturer and other source links take you to independent websites with their own privacy practices. Using an email link opens your email application; any message you choose to send is handled by the email providers involved. We use correspondence to answer your enquiry.
